Fun fact #3 coming in hot! Ready? So I guess you can say that….I’m a huge baseball fan! Some of the fondest memories I have of my childhood, are my dad and I going to games at Qualcomm stadium. Back in my day, they used to pass out player cards and the entrance of the games and I just have such vivid imagery of my dad and I sitting down and him explaining the players batting average, their position and their stats. Those were the days.
This weekend was the rivarly series of all time. Padres vs. Giants. Bwing that Byron is from the bay area and I’m a San Diego native presents the perfect opportunity to talk shiz to each other and have a little friendly competition.
Let’s just say my nothing burns down Byron’s soul more than the Padres winning. That just goes to show that my Padres can put just a good of a fight than the mighty Giants. (Insert sticking toungebout emoji here)
Friday was tons of fun even though I was pretty much over run by Giant fans. We still managed to take home the bacon.
After the game we walked over to the Half Door Brewing company for a few drinks. Let’s just say that this place is becoming my new favorite brewery. Have you guys ever been?
Saturday consisted of more baseball (another win, woo!) and bbq’ing at my friend Alisa’s house. Let’s just say her husband Chris can bbq and we really appreciate that. 🙂 (I’m so bummed I didn’t get any pictures)
Saturday night we ended up at… wait for it… good ol’ PB. I can’t help but feel 21 when I go to PB lol I feel so young again for some reason, anyone else?
First, we started at Tavern and let me just say that it just isn’t what it used to be, I mean why would they just stop making the #purpledrank? Not that any of that matters now a days since I’m actually pretty much a home body and is perfectly ok with that.
Sunday was one for the books. Since we’re season members, one of the perks was to watch the game in a suite! We decided to take our little muffin to this game and she enjoyed it just as much as we did.
I quickly wanted to talk about becoming a season member. I have been getting tons of questions about how much I paid, where my seats are, what are some perks, etc. So here are a few deets:
- Byron and I are currently splitting the tickets. For 22 games we paid about $900 total and are $55 a month each.
- Depending on where you pick your seats will also have a lot to do with the price. Our seats are in located along the third base line. Not too high up, which is nice!
- Members lounge is one our faves. It’s located at the top of the main entrance and you get $5 drinks before first pitch!
- Perks come from the Ballpark app. If you’re thinking about buying season tickets, get the app. You can register the kiddos for compadres kids and you can also add money to the app. The app is great because you can pay for any purchases you make and that will accumulate points and get fun rewards after.
I hope this was helpful. I didn’t want to overwhelm you with tons of info but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Till’ the next post!
