Energy.

Hey you, welcome back to another wellness Wednesday! Today I wanted to get a little more personal and chat about my diet/health along with energy. Where does my energy stem from, where do I focus that energy, and over all how to I keep it up.

I haven’t been on the healthiest kick for such a long time now and I’m so tired of it. I always find myself wanting to try the hot new diet and I feel like those never work out for me. It’s so discouraging! Oh and fact is, I have no diet. And I really want to change that!

What first comes to mind as far as energy goes is my passions for life. What makes me happy, what gets me up in the morning. That would be my daughter, my blog and my family. However when it comes to my body and going to the gym or doing a work out I always make excuses. Why is that?

I came to the conclusion that it’s all mind over matter. Do I just tell myself I lack will in this area therefore I don’t make time for it? The answer is yes. I think I’ve been so discouraged in the past that I just shut down that part of me and try to ignore it.

I know that the best thing I can do is eat healthier, and just work out. I tied this post with energy because I seem to have energy in all the other places except working out and I want to remove that excuse from my head. So how am I going to do that? I’ve been journaling around this thought for a while and I keep thinking about the outcome. Just focus on the good that working out will bring instead of focusing on where I am now. Stop thinking how I got here and instead focus on where I can I be.

I know for a fact that a lot of my lack of energy for working out and other daily activities comes from what I consume. What you put in to your body is what will reflect. So, I’m vouching to going to the gym at least 3-4 times a week, and cook healthier meals. I will be recording all this on IGTV for “proof”, and encouragement! 🙂 Would you guys watch?

As far as meals go and working out, I updated my Pintrest, and added two new board. One is called fitness and the other is called low carb meals. Be sure to swing by! Oh and I’m always open to hearing any suggestions as well!

What is one thing that you do that gives you that energy boost? Let’s chat about it below.

PS: This tropical acai bowl is from Rockie’s Frozen Yogurt. They have the best froyo in town! They also make milk shakes, other acai bowls, coffee drinks, and so much more! If you’re in San Diego, it’s a must try!

Till’ the next post.
