Curent Fave Foundation: barePRO by Bare Minerals.

Happy Sunday loves! Today we’re talking make up-woohoo! Specifically the Bare Minerals barePRO liquid foundation. Ever since I became a mom I’ve noticed that my want and expectations for make up have changed. I sleep less and am up earlier. I work for 8+ hours, and usually after I’m still running around like a mad woman, running errands, cleaning, cooking, you name it.

As a mom I feel like I’m constantly putting foundations to the test and without even trying. I purchase so many different ones that claim to be long lasting and matte from the drug store to high end and there has been a few that have definitely stuck out and became must haves.

I have been on the hunt for a new foundation that’s light weight but has buildable coverage and most importantly is compatible with my skin type. I have combination to oily skin. I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and the coverage on that is unbelievable! However, to me this is not an every day wear foundation because it is a bit heavy for my preference.

I was strolling through Ulta before my Seattle trip and noticed the Bare Minerals area, I have been wanting to try their products since high school, but to be honest, I never got around it. I decided to go with barePRO because they claims were exactly what I was looking for:

I put it to the real test when I went on vacation to Seattle and wore it for 8 + hours, walking and sweating and it stayed in tact the entire time. It didn’t settle in my fine lines which are usually within my mouth and nose areas, and I found that it did stay matte through out most of the day. Usually with other foundations with in 2-4 hours I already see my t-zone getting oily and with this foundation I noticed I went matte up to 6+ hrs.

I love the finish of it too, it really does make my skin look natural but it has amazing coverage. If you have combination to oily skin and I really think you might like this one. I’m in the shade sable 21. Let me know if you decide to pick it up and how you like it!
