I can’t believe that it’s finally happening! I have been dwelling on this for what seems like an incredibly long time and even though the day is finally here it seems a little unreal.
If you’re not coming from my Instagram, then you most likely haven’t seen my IGTV video, but here’s the link. I covered everything from how Soy Libre came to life and when the shift happened in my life that got me to this point of changing my Instagram name and the meaning behind it.
So if you’re not much of an IGTV person, this post is for you. I was the girl behind Soy Libre for about 2 years. For the longest time I was trying to figure out what my niche was and what it was that I really wanted to put out in the universe. I have literally tried it all. From fashion, to beauty, to foodie, all of these categories that I do still truly love but they are just bits and pieces that contribute to my meaning and purpose.
A few months ago, I announced on my Instagram that I had my calling. Growing up in a catholic home and actually going to church pretty rarely was normal for us. It wasn’t until this year when Byron and I started attending the Rock Church so we could begin instilling God’s word in Leya’s life. The first day I went I felt so out of place but what got me coming back for more was not only because of Leya, it was the community and pastor Miles. Gosh, he is truly a blessing. The way he preaches is so fulfilling to my soul I can’t even explain it.
Anyway, once I had my calling I felt so much pace and over all joy that I realized I had a true purpose and meaning in this world, and it all stemmed from there. As I began to read the bible, I was coming across verses that just spoke to me, and one of them was Psalm 139:14, I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful I know that full well.
That really shed light in to purpose, and my purpose in this life. I know that our creator, created us for a very powerful and important reason and he truly created us in his image of being fearfully and wonderfully made. My life really gets meaning from all the experiences I go through, the connections, interactions, every step, every breath, all of those things combined form those experiences that I can share with you all, which ultimately creates those connections and relationships of you and me.
My ultimate goal is to touch peoples lives, and that happens through my purpose. I love spreading positive energy, I want to support those I know and those I don’t know, I want to encourage you to be the version of yourself and I do it along the way with you. I hope that you know that when I post something on social media or here you know I am being as authentic as possible because what I am doing is ultimately to help myself and hopefully that can help you as well. Whether it’s by giving you that mental boost that you were needing or simply as comfort to know that you are not alone.
To close, I just want to remind you that I am not perfect. I am just a girl who has been through some dark times and when I was at rock bottom and I needed light, I relied on family, friends, social media, pintrest, and the wonderful blogging community. When I needed someone, someone was there for me and I just want to be able to reciprocate that back now to my followers or to anyone really.
If you have been a follower for a while or if you just stumbled upon this post, THANK YOU! Thank you for your support, your love, your encouragement, it means more than words will ever be able to express. Welcome, officially to this new chapter of The Wonderful Being!
Till’ the next post!
