I love a good lip color! Whether it’s matte, a gloss, or a regular lipstick, I always have multiple options in my purse. I’d say I’m definitely a nude/neutrals kinda gal pretty much year round but every now and then I dip my toe in the wild side and explore other shades.

This winter holiday season however, I wanted to share my top 3 colors. These babies are the ones that haven’t left the purse, that are on repeat, and are just all around beautiful, especially for this holiday season. Oh, and wanna know the best part?They’re pretty affordable too!

Molten came in to my life around Halloween time when I was working on a campaign with Dollar Tree. I went and purchased several make up items to create a full face look and was shocked by the variety of make they had and how great their quality is! Molten is a great ruby red with a tad bit of shimmer. It is the metal collection by L.A. Colors and it glides like a dream y’all. It’s just a regular lipstick so it’s not long lasting, but I personally don’t mind. The shine is awesome, it’s only $1! And it’s the perfect color for Christmas!

Next up, there is Peanut from Morphe. The minute November started I headed to Ulta to scope out their deals lol. Of course I left with more than I needed but as I was checking out I noticed the Morphe area lipstick area. They got me y’all, they got me. However, I am so glad they did though because I came across this beautiful terracotta shade.

I’d never tried anything from Morphe until now. I know, I know, where have I been… I guess the opportunity never presented itself until now. I LOVE everything about this liquid lip. It’s matte, so it’s definitely long lasting, it doesn’t crack, and glides on easily. This is such a versatile shade that I think would look beautiful on different skin types as well. Oh and by the way, they’re only $10!

Lastly, shout out to my sweet friend Victoria for hitting the spot with this shade. She gifted me bittersweet from Anastasia Beverly Hills and I mean look at that burgandy/chocolatey goodness! Another matte liquid lip, but this one is my for sure winter shade. Like I said, these shade live in my purse. It’s another super long lasting, comfortable on the lips great shade that you just need. These are at the higher price point of $20 but again, it’s amazing quality.
