TARGET MUST HAVES

This is one of the series I missed the most and I’m so ready to bring it back! Today is exciting because we are talking fashion from one of our all time favorite places… drumroll please… Target! For the past few months, I had been completely bypassing the fashion side of the store, mainly because of quarantine and having no where to wear the clothes but in the past month I have been online shopping like crazy. Things are starting to open up again and that means more places to (safely) wear new clothes to. However, let’s be real, if you know me personally you know that 95% of the time you will most likely see me in leggings and a a tie dye or graphic tee. So, here’s 5 Target must have items from lounge wear to stepping out for a drink with girlfriends to dinner date.

The one clothing item I have always gravitated towards from Target has been their dresses. Their Wild Fable line carries some of the best clothing pieces in my opinion. They’re affordable, and always very trendy. The items I will be sharing are also great transitional pieces from summer to fall, and this pink floral smock dress is no exception. I instantly fell in love with the colors to the sleeves, to all the pretty little details. You can also wear this over wear it off the shoulder if you’re traveling somewhere hot and tropical this summer or since we are now transitioning to fall/winter, top if off with a leather or jean jacket and tights and you’re set!

Ok, I think that this is good time to say that there are 3 dresses that are part of this post! I’m hooked with Target dresses and totally ok with that. This next dress is similar in the ruffled sleeves and smock but what I instantly fell in love with is the square neck. I also think I am just a sucker for anything floral, anyone else? I wore this dress to a dinner over the summer and paired it with Jeffrey Campbell sandals , but this would again also pair incredibly well with a jean jacket and booties.

This next dress definitely screams fall and I am obsessed with it! It’s plaid, baby doll style, and it has pockets – which just makes me happy. It’s another great transitional piece and since it’s now officially cold in California, I paired with a cream turtle neck and jeans. Fun fact, I love how dresses look like paired with jeans! What do you guys think?

Ok now for lounge wear, I have been obsessed with these tie dye sweat pants! If you know me or have been following for a while, you know I love anything tie dye, it’s just part of my DNA. These pants are thick but still super soft inside, perfect for the cold months ahead.

Lastly, this leggings and sweatshirt combo gave me life. I don’t think I has purchased leggings from Target in the past but these are so good and really affordable. They’re super stretchy and not see through. The sweatshirt I was instantly drawn too because mustard is just my color and who doesn’t love The Beatles? It’s thin but pretty cozy and soft which is all I want to live in these days.

I hope you liked this week’s #fashionfriday post and at least one or two things caught your eye. I’m looking forward to sharing a new item or items with you guys every week. Which one was your favorite? Let’s chat about it!

Till’ the next post!
