Seattle Day 1: Pike Place, Space Needle + Chihuly Garden.

Greeting from Seattle, Washington! You guys, coming here was really something I’ve been having on my agenda for quite some time now. I’ve always known I wanted to come for two reasons, coffee and weather! As most of you may know, I’m not a summer gal, I love me some grey rainy weather. My family and I decided to keep our new tradition going continue to travel together. Last year we took off to explore the big apple for my 25th birthday and we had a great time. I must say, I love that we’re doing this! My parents are both older and I want to enjoy and really cherish…

    New York Day 4 & 5  + Next Time.

Hiya! I’m back! No, I didn’t forget to post about the last few days… I was just so incredibly tired. The last two days there we did tons of walking trying to cover as much ground as possible, and that can get very exhausting. Especially for someone like me who will wear cute things over comfortable things. #doingitforthegram On day four, we grabbed a quick bite at the cutest little coffee shop right next to our hotel called Tisserie. New York Day 3

We pretty much froze our nips off today. Today was by far one of the coldest days here in New York and man, we really couldn’t handle it. For starters we went to a really awesome comic book based diner called Mom’s Kitchen and Bar.  This is a relatively new place on 9th Ave, but it already has great reviews and it’s rapidly growing popularity over it’s crazy creative shakes and comic book named dishes.  Definitely a good place to start the day! To be completely honest it was a semi fail today… so, let me fill you guys in… the plan for today was to go to down to…

    New York Day 2

Today has been such an exciting, fun filled, long walking, chilly day! New York, is just so full of adventure and… I love it! So it’s definitely cold and it’s definitely fast-paced here. New Yorkers don’t play. It’s day two and I still can’t believe we’re actually here. This is a place that I feel is such a dream, being that I’m a San Diego girl and looking at this city on the other end of the map it’s just crazy to me that we are here! But ok, enough rambling on me being in unbelievable shock. Let’s dive in to what took place today.  For starters, the jetlag hit…

    New York Day 1

Greetings from New Yawk!  Welcome to the very first diary entry of my travel series! As I continue to get older, I realize that I’m growing a huge thirst to travel the world. So many things in my life have been changing from career plans, to priorities and interests. I’ve been spending more time with my dad over the past few weeks and I really love our bond and our conversations. We had fallen off our relationship for a while but I’m glad that our past dinner dates have managed to slowly make up for the lost time. We talk about our goals, our dreams, our passions, and about his…
